These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (\u201cGTC\u201d) govern the contractual relationship between Concreet SA \u2014 Stockeet, a public limited company registered with the Commercial Register of the Canton of Vaud, with its principal place of business located at Chemin du Coteau 29A, 1123 Aclens, and the customer, regarding the rental of storage spaces for personal or business goods.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

2. Description of the Service<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Stockeet provides customers with storage spaces for storing goods. These spaces are intended exclusively for storage and must not, under any circumstances, be used for residential, commercial, or industrial activities. Stockeet is not aware of the nature of the stored goods, thereby excluding any liability on Stockeet\u2019s part with respect to these goods. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

3. Terms of Use for Storage Space<\/strong><\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

  • Specific Prohibitions:<\/b> The customer agrees not to store hazardous, illegal, perishable, odorous, flammable, or explosive materials, or any goods whose possession or storage is regulated. It is also prohibited to use the space for commercial or residential activities. <\/span><\/li>
  • Modifications and Alterations:<\/b> Any modification or alteration to the storage space requires Stockeet\u2019s prior written consent.<\/span><\/li>
  • Digital Data:<\/b> Stockeet advises customers not to store sensitive digital data and accepts no liability in the event of a dispute concerning digital data stored by the customer.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    4. Customer Commitments and Obligations Upon Subscription<\/strong><\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
    • Identification Document: <\/b>The customer agrees to provide Stockeet with a copy of a valid document proving his or her identity no later than the contract start date (ID card, residence permit, Swiss work permit, passport).<\/span><\/li>
    • Change of Address: <\/b>The customer agrees to provide their full address and contact information and to report any changes within 48 hours.<\/span><\/li>
    • Updating Payment Information: <\/b>The customer agrees to update their payment method within 48 hours if it expires or becomes invalid.<\/span><\/li>
    • Breaches of Obligations and Commitments: <\/b>In the event of a breach of obligations and commitments by the customer, Stockeet reserves the right to temporarily suspend the customer\u2019s access or to terminate the contract without notice.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

      5. Term and Termination<\/strong><\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      • The Contract:<\/b> These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) constitute a contract. The customer agrees to review and accept these GTC when signing up for a rental subscription for one or more Stockeet storage units. <\/span><\/li>
      • Contract Term:<\/b> Contracts are entered into for a fixed term, generally on a monthly basis starting from the start date, and are automatically renewable unless terminated by either party. The contract start date is set by the customer when signing up for the subscription. <\/span><\/li>
      • Cancellation Procedure:<\/b> The customer may cancel their subscription through their customer portal on the stockeet.ch website, under the \u201cMy Account\u201d section, or, alternatively, by sending a request via email to contact@stockeet.ch<\/span><\/li>
      • Notice of Termination:<\/b> Termination must be given with 14 days’ notice. <\/span> <\/li>
      • Termination for Breach:<\/b> Stockeet may terminate the contract immediately in the event of a material breach of the terms and conditions by the customer, including, but not limited to, the storage of prohibited items or improper use of the space.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

        6. Pricing and Payment<\/strong><\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

        • Fees:<\/b> Rental rates are set and listed on the stockeet.ch website. The fee is due no later than the day you move into the storage unit, as well as on the first day of each monthly renewal period. <\/span><\/li>
        • Late fees:<\/b> Stockeet reserves the right to charge a late payment fee of 30 CHF per rented storage unit per month of delinquency, starting with the second month of nonpayment. Late payment fees are cumulative. <\/span><\/li>
        • Rate Changes:<\/b> Stockeet reserves the right to change rates with 30 days’ notice prior to the contract renewal.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

          7. Security Deposit<\/strong><\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

          Stockeet does not require a security deposit when signing up to rent a storage unit. However, the customer is liable for any damage they may cause, whether through their own actions or as a result of their stored items and equipment. In the event of damage or cleaning costs, the customer agrees to pay all restoration costs. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

          8. Cleaning and Maintenance of the Stall<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

          \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

          At the end of the rental period and when the renter moves out, the storage unit must be left empty and in impeccable condition. If the storage unit is not returned in satisfactory condition, Stockeet reserves the right to charge cleaning fees and\/or removal fees if the unit is still cluttered. The amount of these fees will be determined based on the time and resources required to restore the unit to its original condition. Stockeet provides its customers with a broom, a hand brush, and a small dustpan to help keep the storage spaces clean. Each renter is asked to leave the space as they found it and to use the cleaning supplies provided to ensure that the space is clean after each use. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

          9. Damage and Deterioration<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

          \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

          The customer is liable for any damage caused to Stockeet\u2019s facilities, including damage to equipment provided, such as pallet jacks, cleaning supplies, and the freight elevator. The customer is also liable for any damage caused outside the building, particularly when maneuvering their vehicle on the loading dock and in the Stockeet lobby. The customer may be accompanied by or share access with a third party, but remains solely responsible. <\/span><\/p>

          In the event of such damage, Stockeet reserves the right to bill the customer for the necessary repair or replacement costs. The amount of these charges will be determined based on the extent of the damage and the resources required to restore the facilities to their original condition. Stockeet also reserves the right to charge administrative fees related to resolving the dispute and repairing the damage caused. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

          10. Waste and Bulky Item Management<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

          Stockeet provides an additional trash can in the lobby, intended exclusively for small trash. Under no circumstances does Stockeet offer a trash or bulky item pickup service for customers. The renter agrees to take all trash and bulky items with them after each visit and at the end of the rental period. Any failure to comply with this obligation may result in additional charges for the renter, corresponding to the costs of managing and disposing of any trash left on the premises. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
